Data collected: none.
Mapmoir is built on one principle: your location history belongs to you and never leaves your device.
Mapmoir reads photo locations and dates (via Apple's on-device PhotoKit) and, if you choose, a Google Timeline export file you provide. All processing — maps, trips, statistics, country detection — happens on your device. Your data is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone.
One thing: requests for map tile images (from OpenStreetMap/CARTO). These requests contain only the map coordinates of tiles being displayed — the same for every user — and none of your personal data, photos, or history. Country and city lookups use offline databases bundled inside the app.
Nothing. Mapmoir has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server of its own. We cannot see your data because there is nowhere for it to go.
You can export all of your data to a single backup file you keep, and erase everything from the app with one tap (Add menu → "Erase all data"). Deleting the app deletes all of its data.
